We had the honor to be there when the team mechanic assembled the brand new Cervelo Soloist for superstar Wout van Aert. The Soloist name is deeply rooted in the history of Cervélo, the Soloist was the weapon of choice of the top riders of Team CSC and the Cervelo Test Team in the past. The new 2023 Soloist strikes the balance between lightweight, comfort and aerodynamic advantages. So the new Soloist is slightly lighter than an S5 but significantly more aerodynamic than the R5. Like the R5 CX, the Soloist gets the threaded BBRIGHT-47 bottom bracket standard.

Wout van Aert is a Belgian professional cyclist who specializes in road racing and cyclo-cross. He was born on September 15, 1994, and began his career as a professional cyclist in 2015. He quickly made a name for himself in the cyclo-cross world, winning the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships three times in a row in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

He also had a lot of success on the road, in 2020 he won his first classic Monument, Strade Bianche, and was 3rd on the Tour of Flanders and Paris Roubaix. He also won the 2020 ITT World Championship. At the 2022 Tour de France he won 3 stages, wore the yellow jersey for 4 days and took the green jersey to Paris.

Van Aert is considered one of the most talented riders of his generation and is considered one of the best classics riders in the world.

Frame Cervélo Soloist 56cm 916,5g
Dropouts 22g
Fork Cervélo Soloist 384g
Axles Cervélo 130g
Headset Cervélo 126,5g

Computer mount Vision 40.5g
Bars Vision HB Metron 5D ACR 140x420mm 378,5g
Bartape FSA 58,5g
Barend covers CloseTheGap 10g
Seatclamp Cervélo 33g
Seatpost Cervélo 208g
Saddle Fizik Antares 188g

Rear derailleur Sram Red eTap AXS 275g
Chain Sram Red 260g
Chainring Sram 52t Quark 278g
Crank Sram Red DUB 340g
Bottom bracket Sram DUB 93,5g
Brake caliper front, Shifter Sram Red eTap AXS 391,5g
Brake caliper rear, Shifter Sram Red eTap AXS 395g
Liner 8g
Small parts 89g

Front wheel Reserve 52 1221g
Rear wheel Reserve 63 1560g
Pedals Wahoo Speedplay Zero 211,5
Bottle Cage Tacks 59,5
Total weight: 7638g

0:32 Weights
2:25 Bike Build
16:03 Bike Fitting
24:07 Total Weight
24:23 Final Bike

The opinions expressed in this space are the sole responsibility of the YouTube Channel road bike channel and do not necessarily represent the views of CicloNews.

Bicycles4ever

Probike Build I Dream Build I Cervélo Soloist 2023 I Wout van Aert I Team Jumbo Visma with Road Bike Channel Source: road bike Youtube Channel: Probike Build I Dream Build I Cervélo Soloist 2023 I Wout van Aert I Team Jumbo Visma Video Probike Build I Dream Build I Cervélo Soloist 2023 I Wout […]

{"twitter_1742903173470134272_1742903173470134272":"
"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

3,71
327
post-20616","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-road","category-road-bikes","tag-road-bike-channel
https://bicycles4ever.com/en/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2024/01/Probike-Build-Dream-Build-Cervelo-Soloist-2023.jpg
["GET
