Since 2018, the name ALTO has been part of the KTM road bike range. ALTO stands for “high up” and is intended to reflect the use as a mountain bike in the naming. Together with our third participation in the Tour de France, we are also presenting the third new edition of the REVELATOR ALTO. During the development work, we drew on feedback from the pros and incorporated the experience gained from the toughest bike races in the world. In addition, the new ALTO frame underwent the toughest testing phase in KTM history. The pre-series prototypes were already sent to the “Hell of the North” and received their baptism of fire at the pavé of “Paris-Roubaix”. At the same time, the perfect aerodynamics were fine-tuned in the wind tunnel. The final values confirm both the ideal climbing characteristics and the low air resistance of the ALTOS in black and white. The French mountain specialist Pierre Rolland rode straight into the mountain jersey of the Dauphiné Tour with the new ALTO frame. Some success stories have already been written in this new chapter of KTM bike history and we eagerly await many more. The journey of the first production frames leads from Mattighofen, via Copenhagen, to the Champs Élysées in Paris.
Just in time for the presentation of the bike and shortly before the start of the Tour de France, we were allowed to mount the brand new KTM Revelator Alto Exonic.

Weights:

Frame KTM Revelator Alto Exonic 2023 965g
Fork KTM Revelator Alto NanoPremium Carbon F15 432,5g
Headset FSA 108,5g
Bar/Stem FSA METRON 5D ACR Road Carbon 387g
Bartape KTM Tape 65g
Seatclamp KTM Revelator Alto 29,5g
Seatpost Ritchey Carbon, D-Shape 199g
Saddle Fizik Versus Evo 219,5g
Rear derailleur Shimano Dura Ace Di2 R9250 216,5g
Front derailleur Shimano Dura Ace Di2 R9250 94g
Shifters Shimano Dura Ace Di2 R9270 371,5g
Battery Shimano BT-DN300 56,5g
Cabels Shimano Di2 20g
Chain Shimano M9100-12 231g
Crank Shimano Dura Ace R9200 52-36 693g
Bottom bracket Shimano PressFit 73g
Cassette Shimano Dura Ace R9200-12 / 11-30 223g
Brake Shimano Dura Ace R9270 hydraulic 308g
Discs Shimano SM-RT900-SS 218,5g
Wheelset DT Swiss PRC 1400 SPLINE 35 CL 1441g
Tubes Schwalbe Aerothan 95g
Tyres Continental GradPrix 5000 S TR 526,5g
Axle front KTM 35g
Axle rear KTM 46g
Liner KTM 23,5g
Cuttoffs Cables, bartape -18g

Total 7060g

The opinions expressed in this space are the sole responsibility of the YouTube Channel road bike channel and do not necessarily represent the views of CicloNews.

Bicycles4ever

Dreambuild KTM Revelator Alto Exonic 2023 I Shimano Dura Ace DI2 I 7 kg I New Tour de France Bike with Road Bike Channel Source: road bike Youtube Channel: Dreambuild KTM Revelator Alto Exonic 2023 I Shimano Dura Ace DI2 I 7 kg I New Tour de France Bike Video Dreambuild KTM Revelator Alto Exonic […]

{"twitter_1742903173470134272_1742903173470134272":"
"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

3,71
327
post-20700","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-road","category-road-bikes","tag-road-bike-channel
https://bicycles4ever.com/en/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2024/01/Dreambuild-KTM-Revelator-Alto-Exonic-2023-Shimano-Dura-Ace.jpg
["GET
