During development, it was important for Merida to create a gravel bike with a very wide range of uses. In addition to the sporty attributes, the focus was on everyday use and use on long tours and bikepacking, so the frame has various attachment points on the frame and fork for various bags. Merida itself offers a bag set that is optimally tailored to the new Silex, which we mount at the end of the video.
All the details of the new bike in the Dream Build video, have fun.

Frame Merida Silex 7000 1379 g
Fork Merida Silex II CF2 625 g
Headset Merida 8158 98 g
Bars FSA K-Wing AGX 232 g
Stem FSA K-Force Light 116,5 g
Bartape Jagwire Pro Bartape 76 g
Seatpost FSA K-Force Light 184 g
Saddle Selle San Marco Shortfit 2.0 Open-Fit 3D 187,5 g
Rear derailleur Sram XX1 379 g
Shift-Brake-Controllers Sram Red 467 g
Caliper, Hydraulic Hose Sram Red 290 g
Chain KMC X12 257 g
Crank Easton EC90 SL 438 g
Cassette e13 Helix R 9-50 363 g
Bottom bracket Easton BSA 82 g
Discs SwissStop Catalyst Pro 297 g
Front wheel FSA SC 30 AGX Disc 719 g
Rear wheel FSA SC 30 AGX Disc 829 g
Tyres Schwalbe G-One R 1155 g
Tubes Schwalbe Aerothan 129,5 g
Foil Luxshield Fahrrad Lackschutzfolie Universal 30 g
Smallparts Bolts, Oil, Grease, Centerlock 128 g
TOTAL 8461,5 g
