It took three seasons of failed attempts before I finally earned a spot at the prestigious Paris-Brest-Paris event. However, my success came at a cost, as I was dealing with an ITB injury and a painful tennis elbow. Despite these setbacks, I approached the event with no expectations and just hoped to enjoy the experience.
