The weather was cold and snowy, but the challenge of the 218 km route with over 2,000m of climbing lay ahead. As the day progressed, the headwinds and hills tested my resolve. Along the way, I was joined by familiar faces and encountered unexpected sights, such as Concorde and the Russian Tu-144 planes at the Technik Museum in Sinsheim. Despite foot pain and fatigue, I pushed on through the night, finally reaching the finish line to enjoy some much-deserved food and drink.
