Konrad Irlbacher the owner and managing director of Corratec Bikes is a passionate cycling fan. With the rise of Team Corratec to be a “Continental Pro” team, a small sensation has happened, especially since the Italian team was invited to the Giro. Yet the company from Raubling, Germany has been associated with the Italian tour for quite some time. Back in 2005, Corratec achieved a sensational success when the young Venezuelan José Rujano won the 19th stage and finished 3rd overall, just 45 seconds behind the winner.
In the week before the start of the Giro, we were able to set up a team bike from Team Corratec in our workshop, which was immediately delivered to the team and is now in use there as a replacement bike. We keep our fingers crossed for the team and hope you enjoy the video. All components installed on the team bike with weights can be found in the video and in the spreadsheet.
