During a recent ride with the Lidl-Trek Team in the Marina Alta region of Spain where WorldTour Pro Cycling teams gather for winter training camps, I had the opportunity to tackle the Val d’Ebo climb alongside great climbers Mattias Skjelmose and Giulio Ciccone. The team was focused on intervals for the day, and I did my best to stay on the wheels of these skilled riders.
