As I scouted the course for Stage 21 of the TDF 2024 a week before the race, I was struck by the numerous changes that had taken place in the past month. From road maintenance to removing speedbumps on downhills and laying new tarmac on hairpins, the route was still not perfect. I couldn’t help but wonder how the riders would navigate this challenging course on their Time-trial bikes.
